She co-wrote the book 7 Family Ministry Essentials with Dr. Michelle Anthony and served as the Director of Student Resources and Events for David C Cook as she led a team in creating TruIdentity: a spiritually forming, Christ centered and family empowered youth ministry curriculum line.
Brian Siewert is committed to God, family, and church – in that order. He is husband to Celia, and dad to four kids. Brian is passionate about helping church leaders understand children, youth and family ministry and is a junkie of innovative church ministry. From Edmonton, he serves as the Ministries Director for Faith at Home, is the architect of the FaithLife Survey for churches, and is part of the Family Life Canada team.
Dave Solmes is deeply committed to helping others reach their potential in life and ministry. He has pastored for many years in a variety of situations and locations across the country and presently serves the district of British Columbia and Yukon District in the area of Leadership Development and Church Multiplication. Dave, and his wife Julie, attend Living Waters Church in Fort Langley, and have 3 children and a little white dog named, Duke.
Tory White has worked as Church Services Coordinator at CLC Network since 2012 and has been involved in education and ministry for over twenty years. She has served in children's ministry, both as a staff member and volunteer. Tory has written curriculum for her church's children's ministry, as well as for Friendship Ministries’ adult inclusive bible study, TOGETHER. She has edited several books, including CLC Network's latest publication, Accessible Gospel, Inclusive Worship. Tory brings her experience in homeschooling, a degree in education, a decade of experience working in the inclusion program at Zeeland Christian School, and victory over a debilitating chronic illness to serve families and churches in their efforts to include individuals at all ability levels with excellence.
Ken has been a key participant of the church team at Parasource Marketing & Distribution, formerly known as David C Cook Distribution Canada, for over 3 years. As a Church Resource Consultant he has worked with many churches over the 3 years, helping them find a curriculum that best suits the needs of their church. Ken has also served in Church ministry for over 25 years in the areas of Children, Youth, and Worship which allows him to have a well-rounded perspective of what churches are looking for and help them work through some of the challenges they may have. As a husband, father of 3 and a grandfather, he has a heart for children’s spiritual growth and will be presenting the top 10 questions asked of Children’s Pastor’s, several different curricula as well as offering a time of question and answer to help you in your children’s ministry area.
Charmaine Findley has a love for the younger generation that live in her community. As a result of her passion, she has planted two children’s ministries comprised solely of children of the immediate community. Her desire is that no child is left behind. Charmaine has a Social Work Associates Degree from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Religion and Counselling Degree from Summit Pacific College and has worked with children that have behavioral challenges for the last 25 years. Charmaine specializes in leadership training for children’s workers in the area of church planting and working with children with behavioural challenges.

Victoria (Tori) Bissell joined Plan to Protect® at the end of 2013, as Director of Training. She graduated from Wilfred Laurier University and Nipissing University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Education. Tori is passionate about children and education and has worked with kids as a day camp director, assistant children's pastor and teacher. Tori is creative; loves photography, scrapbooking and has travelled extensively across Canada, USA, Italy, Bolivia, Uganda and the UK.
Dr. Mick Nelson is the Director of Discipleship at Broadway Church in Vancouver, BC and a certified trainer for Crucial Conversations. He and his wife, Christine, make their home in Surrey, BC. Mick does adjunct teaching for Summit Pacific College and Master’s College & Seminary. He is also an enthusiastic sailor.
